A 1910 Indian Tri-Car
…also known as a Fore-Car, was developed by the Hendee Manufacturing Company. There are two wheels in the front, and one in the rear. The two wheels in the front is where the seat for a passenger, or delivery box (any commercial application) would be attached. In 1906 it was offered as an attachment to any Indian model. Each wheel had coil springs at the steering posts and leaf springs for the front seat. The Fore-Car grew popular in Europe. Everyone in the country became interested in Indians 3 wheel bike. This machine was built from a collection of parts by Bruce Lindsay. We’ll have a video of Bruce riding this around the parking lot shortly!
